Huntington Beach police responded at about 6 a.m. to a report that a man was trying to enter a bedroom through a window. Officers later arrested Pastrana in the neighborhood, according to police.

Pastrana, who is listed in jail records as a gardener, is being held without bail in Orange County Jail in Santa Ana. He is expected to appear in court for a pretrial hearing Oct. 26.

Pastrana has pleaded guilty to various misdemeanor and felony charges since 2008, including possession of a controlled substance, burglary, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and a sentencing enhancement for criminal street gang activity, according to court records.
