Dogs from all over the world hit the waves Saturday in Huntington Beach for the annual Surf City Surf Dog competition.

The four-legged contenders, sporting life jackets, had 12 minutes each to showcase their best Kelly Slater impression at Huntington Dog Beach before being judged on confidence level, length of ride and wave-riding ability.

The event also featured pet adoptions, vendor booths and dog play zones.
