Tell us about your community’s Unsung Heroes

Share

Do you know someone who always does the right thing, even when no one is looking?

Can you name someone who works tirelessly to aid others, who quietly goes about the job, whether volunteer or paid, but hasn’t been recognized for making a difference in the community?

The Daily Pilot wants to find such people. It’s for a new section for our end-of-the-year papers.

This new feature, Unsung Heroes, seeks to highlight those who didn’t make the paper in 2016, or those who have never made the paper at all, but who probably should.

This list is not about newsmakers, notables or politicians — just regular people making a difference in the lives of others.

If you know such people, email bradley.zint@latimes.com or contact the newsroom at (714) 966-4699.

Please limit suggestions to people who live, work or otherwise have strong ties to the Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Seal Beach, Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach or Laguna Beach communities.

If chosen, the people could be featured, photographed and interviewed for stories in the paper later this month.
