Mailbag: Fire is out, Bayside restaurant is open for business

On Thursday, July 14, there was a small fire at Bayside restaurant in Newport Beach. Thankfully, only minor damage was sustained in the bathroom, and we were able to open the restaurant that very next day.

We have been besieged with calls ever since from concerned residents and loyal patrons wanting to know how severe the fire was and if we are still open to the public. Please know that we are, yes, open to the public.
