High School Boys’ Soccer Roundup: Laguna Beach earns first win, hands Los Amigos first loss

Sophomore Jet Rocha and senior Sterling Butler each recorded two goals, leading the Laguna Beach High boys’ soccer team to a 4-0 win against visiting Los Amigos on Wednesday.

The Breakers picked up their first win, and in doing so, they became the first team to knock off the Lobos (4-1) this season.

Laguna Beach (1-2) is at home against Tesoro on Friday at 6:30 p.m.

Los Amigos travels to Marina on Monday for a 3 p.m. match.

Estancia 2, Santiago 2

Junior Rafael Espinoza and senior Charlie Segura scored for the Eagles in Wednesday’s nonleague match at home.

Estancia (2-1-1) plays host to Corona del Mar on Friday at 5 p.m.

Santa Ana 2, Fountain Valley 0

The host Barons suffered their first setback of the season in nonleague action on Wednesday.

Fountain Valley (2-1-1) has a home date with Dana Hills next Wednesday at 3:15 p.m.

Pacifica Christian Orange County 2, Capistrano Valley Christian 2

Junior Nick Kutscher scored twice for the host Tritons in a San Joaquin League match on Wednesday.

Pacifica Christian (1-3-1, 0-1-1 in league) faces Eldorado Emerson at home on Friday at 3 p.m.
