CYPRESS — The visiting Pirates improved to 8-4, 3-1 in conference in the Orange Empire Conference contest on Wednesday.

OCC visits first-place Golden West on Wednesday at 3 p.m.

Cypress fell to 5-14, 1-4.

RIVERSIDE — The visiting Anteaters posted a 22-11 shot advantage in the Big West Conference game on Wednesday night.

Jose Ortiz led UCI (3-11, 1-4 in conference) with four shots, while Giovanni Godoy added three.

UC Riverside improved to 9-4-1, 4-0-1.
