Estancia boys’ water polo routs Saddleback

Logan Richards scored seven goals as the Estancia High boys’ water polo team beat Saddleback 25-6 in an Orange Coast League game on Wednesday.

The victory clinched at least third place in league, which Estancia coach Mitch White said should mean at least a wild-card berth into the CIF Southern Section Division 6 playoffs.

Chris Bauer scored five goals, while Alex Epperson and Jake Blinn had four each for Estancia (10-6, 2-1 in league). Cobi White had three goals, and Marshall Rucknagel and Mathew Kehoe added one each.

The Eagles play at Laguna Beach in their league finale on Oct. 25.
