Key Oilers: Jr. WR/CB Jerimiah Flanagan (21 catches for 308 yards, four TDs); Fr. QB Jacob Hanlon (52 of 134 passing for 676 yards, six TDs, 11 INTs); Jr. MLB John Gosney (team-best 56 tackles).

Breakdown: Fountain Valley (5-1, 1-0 in league) looks to continue its fast start when it visits Huntington Beach (1-5, 0-1) in a Sunset League meeting … The Barons opened league last week with a 35-21 victory over Marina, rallying for the win by scoring 22 unanswered points in the fourth quarter … Fountain Valley, ranked No. 9 in CIF Southern Section Division 6, is off to its best start since 2013 … The Oilers lost to defending league champion Edison, 63-0, last week … Huntington Beach has given up at least 28 points in all six of its games this season … Oilers are trying to avoid their first 0-2 start in league since 2014 … Huntington Beach is 5-2 against Fountain Valley since joining the Sunset League in 2010, but the teams have split the last four meetings.
