Laguna boys’ water polo stunned in Division 2 quarterfinals

Redlands East Valley scored with six seconds left, as the Laguna Beach High boys’ water polo team lost 6-5 in the quarterfinals of the CIF Southern Section Division 2 playoffs Saturday at Indian Springs High.

James Nolan, Colton Gregory, Sebastian Jacobs, Peter Weiland and Larsen McCarroll scored one goal each for the No. 4-seeded Breakers. Caden Capobianco had four saves.

Laguna Beach finished the season 19-10.
