Key Seahawks: Sr. QB/SS Xavier Salgado (51 of 101 passing for 918 yards, eight TDs, and eight INTs; 135 carries for 658 yards and eight TDs; 45 tackles); Sr. MLB Victor Castillo-Hidalgo (108 tackles, four sacks, nine tackles for a loss, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery); Sr. RB/FS Chase Foreman (68 carries for 405 yards and five TDs; 19 catches for 298 yards and 4 TDs; 63 tackles, two sacks, two INTs, and one fumble recovery).

Breakdown: Ocean View felt that it was deserving of a playoff spot after going 5-5, 2-3 in the Golden West League last year. The Panthers had improved to 6-0 with a win over Santa Ana in the league opener, but they had to forfeit the win after an ineligible player participated on special teams…In the finale, Ocean View won’t receive any favors from Segerstrom (8-0, 3-0), which will be seeking its second straight league championship.
