VegFest highlights the healthy life

Share

Attendees flocked to Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa Saturday for SoCal VegFest — a down-to-earth event featuring plant-based food samples, cooking demonstrations, musical entertainment, dozens of vendors and more.

Organizers say the purpose of the event, now in its second year, is to demonstrate the benefits of health-conscious living and inspire people to live healthier, more environmentally friendly and compassionate lives.

The event is run by volunteers as a project of the nonprofit Animal Protection and Rescue League.
