News-Press Pet of the Day: Ella

Ella is a sweet and sociable 5-year-old, Russian blue-mix, short-haired cat.

She loves attention and enjoys having her face and chin gently rubbed. If you’re looking for a friendly and affectionate couch buddy, you should meet Ella.

She also qualifies for our Seniors for Seniors program, which waives the adoption fee for adopters 60 years old and older. The mandatory microchip fee of $20 still applies.

New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for a pet.

Call the Pasadena Humane Society and SPCA at (626) 792-7151 to ask about A388953 or visit at 361 S. Raymond Ave. in Pasadena. Adoption hours are from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
