‘Tangerine’ to be shown at Abril Bookstore

Abril Bookstore’s Armenian Film Society will present a free screening of “Tangerine” at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the bookstore, 415 E. Broadway, Glendale.

The 2015 comedy-drama film, set during Christmas, was shot entirely on three iPhone 5s cameras. “Tangerine” follows transgender sex worker Sin-Dee as she learns her boyfriend and pimp has been cheating on her.
