Three people with alleged ties to the West Side Locos gang are now in custody after Glendale police served a search warrant at a south Los Angeles home Friday.

Hector Quintanilla, Silvia Rodriguez and David Garcia were arrested after officers from the department’s AB 109 Task Force — established to monitor the local impact of the state’s criminal realignment law —found firearms and narcotics in the home. The warrant was served after Quintanilla was contacted recently in Glendale by a fellow gang member.

Police seized an AR-15 rifle, a Tech 9 sub-machine gun, two loaded handguns, ammunition and high-capacity magazines. They also found drug paraphernalia and ecstasy.

The 5-year-old son of Rodriguez and Garcia was also at the residence.

Quintanilla and Rodriguez are siblings and were booked with child endangerment and weapons/narcotics violations. Garcia, who arrived after the search occurred, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

The Department of Children and Family Services took custody of the child.
