Latina Power in STEM event gets technical

Glendale Community College held its third annual Latina Power in STEM conference last Saturday, with middle school and high school Latina students taking part in workshops and hearing presentations by professionals in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, or STEM.

The program included hands-on activities in subjects such as coding and robotics.

There was also a question-and-answer session with STEM professionals.
