Police department conducting training at Glendale Community College

The Glendale Police Department will be conducting a training exercise at Glendale Community College, 1500 N. Verdugo Road, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Officers will be taking part in training related to active-shooter scenarios, according to Sgt. Dan Suttles, a spokesman for the police department.

There will be a large police presence on the college campus during the exercise, which will use simulated gunfire.
