Connor Belcher, Senior, Libero, La Cañada

The Rio Hondo League first-team selection led his squad with 186 digs and 27 aces as the Spartans captured a Rio Hondo League title, only the second in school history. La Cañada advanced to the second round of the Division II playoffs.

Skyler Bercini, Junior, Libero, Burroughs

As his team’s top defender, the junior was an All-Pacific League honorable mention and set a new school record with 324 digs to go along with 43 assists and 16 aces. Bercini was named co-MVP of the San Gabriel Valley Underclassmen All-Star Game.

Patrick Lance, Senior, Outside Hitter, Burbank

Maybe no player had as big an impact on the Bulldogs’ success this season as the Pacific League first-team choice. Lance totaled 178 kills, 113 digs and 22 blocks for Burbank, which won a school record 20 matches.

Conner Ludlum, Junior, Outside Hitter, Burroughs

The Pacific League second-team selection tallied 241 kills, 154 digs and 34 aces for the CIF So California Boys’ Volleyball Division II champion Indians.

Mel Schroeder, Senior, Outside Hitter, La Cañada

It was an impressive year for the All-Rio Hondo League first-team choice, who was second on his squad with 159 kills and added 22 aces. Schroeder helped the Spartans win the Rio Hondo League title and finish with an 18-3 record.

David Thompson, Senior, Setter, St. Francis

The All-Mission League second-team pick finished with 468 assists and 75 kills and was a key player for the Golden Knights. Thompson helped keep St. Francis in the playoff hunt and competitive in the tough Mission League.
