BOYS’ WATER POLO

Crescenta Valley 11, El Segundo 7: David Komjathy finished with a team-high four goals and five steals and goalkeeper Hakop Artsvelian had 13 saves Thursday to lift the visiting Falcons (5-2) in a nonleague match.

Crescenta Valley got two goals each from Kurtis McNevin, Noah Kim and Alec Abrahamian.

Burbank 16, St. Francis 9: The visiting Golden Knights surrendered nine of the game’s first 10 goals and fell in nonleague action Friday evening. The loss dropped St. Francis to 5-8 this season.

El Segundo 13, Hoover 9: Visiting Hoover (5-4) dropped a nonleague match Wednesday. Goalkeeper Henry Pruett finished with 10 saves for the Tornadoes.

Burroughs 15, Hoover 3: Hoover dropped a Pacific League road match Thursday. The Tornadoes are 0-7, 0-5 in league.

Burbank 3, Glendale 1: Visiting Glendale saw Burbank record a 22-25, 25-15, 25-20, 25-11 Pacific League win.

Burbank 3, Hoover 0: Host Hoover suffered a 25-8, 25-14, 25-18 Pacific League defeat Tuesday.

GIRLS’ GOLF

Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 241, Louisville 273: The Tologs recorded a Mission League win Tuesday at Encino Golf Course. Skye Henry carded a 10-over-par 46 to lead Flintridge Sacred Heart.

WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL

L.A. Mission College 3, Glendale Community College 1: Glendale (2-5) saw Mission record a 25-20, 25-23, 11-25, 25-9 nonconference victory Wednesday.

MEN’S SOCCER

Glendale Community College 2, East L.A. College 2: The Vaqueros (1-4-2) registered a tie in Tuesday’s nonconference match. Glendale got one goal each from Fabricio Bonilla and Makan Afzail.
