BOYS’ SOCCER

Crescenta Valley 2, Hoover 0: The visiting Falcons remained atop the Pacific League following Tuesday’s win. Crescenta Valley (11-4-2, 6-0-1 in league) got goals from Dallas Kaauwai and Ryan Sanfilippo.

Hoover (3-7-3, 2-3-2) had just two shots on goal.

Burbank 1, Glendale 1: The Nitros played to a Pacific League stalemate Tuesday afternoon at home. Glendale is 0-4-3 in league.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

Crescenta Valley 8, Hoover 0: Crescenta Valley got three goals from Dana Ryan and two from Chloe Ataya to cruise to a Pacific League home victory Tuesday. The Falcons are 7-5-4, 5-0-1 in league.

Hoover fell to 1-12-1, 0-5-1.

Providence 8, Glendale Adventist Academy 0: The Cougars fell Tuesday afternoon in the Independence League match at Occidental College.

Burbank 2, Glendale 2: The Nitros played to a Pacific League draw Tuesday afternoon against the host Bulldogs.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

Glendale 57, Arcadia 54: Elvin Hartoonian finished with 15 points and Urim Mousa Khani added 12 to help Glendale post a Pacific League road win Tuesday. The Nitros improved to 14-5, 2-4 in league.

Burbank 88, Crescenta Valley 78: Crescenta Valley lost a Pacific League home game Tuesday. The Falcons fell to 11-8, 4-2 in league.

Flintridge Prep 65, Chadwick 42: Jonathan Le collected a game-high 16 points to propel host Flintridge Prep to a Prep League win Tuesday. The Rebels (8-9, 2-0 in league) got 12 points from Nick Davis and 11 from Brandon Gunning.

Canoga Park Armenian General Benevolent Union 37, Glendale Adventist Academy 32: Host Glendale Adventist dropped an Independence League contest Tuesday. The Cougars are 4-8, 0-4 in league.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Flintridge Prep 54, Chadwick 50: Flintridge Prep earned a Prep League home win Tuesday. Kaitlyn Chen had 23 points and Sofia Gonzalez added 13 for the Rebels (12-5, 4-0 in league).

Marymount 43, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 34: The Tologs dropped a Mission League home contest Tuesday and are 2-14, 0-3 in league.

Muir 42, Hoover 36: Isabella Balderas finished with a team-high 11 points for host Hoover in Tuesday’s Pacific League game. The Tornadoes dipped to 1-14, 0-6 in league.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

Glendale Community College 71, Victor Valley College 32: The host Vaqueros (11-6) tipped off Western State Conference East Division play Saturday with a victory. Glendale received 17 points and six assists from Cheyenne Jankulovski, 14 points from Savannah Fauria, 12 points from Deanna Gordillo and nine points and eight rebounds from Sylvia Vartazarian.

MEN’S BASKETBALL

Glendale Community College 76, Victor Valley College 53: Chris Daniels finished with a game-high 23 points and Jordan Matthews added 14 points and 11 rebounds Saturday to propel the host Vaqueros in their Western State Conference East Division opener. Glendale (8-10) got 11 points from Serigne Athj and 10 points and four assists from Dominic Gully.
