Santa helps deliver Miracle on Main Street in H.B.

There was almost a month to go before his traditional big night on Christmas Eve, but jolly ol’ St. Nick turned Surf City into Santa City on Sunday evening as he helped start downtown Huntington Beach’s holiday celebration at the annual Miracle on Main Street festival and tree lighting.

The five-hour event, presented by the Huntington Beach Downtown Business Improvement District in the 200 block of Main, featured a vendor fair, children’s crafts, treats, hot cocoa and live entertainment.

It was originally scheduled for Nov. 20 but was postponed by rain.
