Equestrian nonprofit plans fundraising luncheon

Fourteen members of AHEAD With Horses have been planning the agency’s annual Valentine Luncheon and Chinese Auction, which will be held at Brookside Golf Club on Friday, Feb. 24. The event gets underway at 11:30 a.m.

AHEAD With Horses, located in Shadow Hills, is a nonprofit agency that works on behalf of children with special needs. Children ride horses to gain confidence in themselves and learn to trust the well-cared-for and gentle horses. It won the Red Tricycle Award in 2016.
