Workshop to focus on protecting children

A workshop titled “An Ounce of Prevention,” centering on the topic of protecting children from predators, will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 2, at the Community Center of La Cañada Flintridge, 4469 Chevy Chase Drive.

The workshop will be led by Pattie Fitzgerald, founder of Safely Ever After Inc. and author of “No Trespassing — This is My Body!” and “Super Duper Safety School.”
