Thursday Club’s Les Fleurettes provisionals plan spring fashion show
Fashions from Bloomingdale’s will be on the runway May 13 when six provisional debutantes present “Springin’ in the Rain” at the La Cañada Thursday Club, 4440 Woodleigh Lane. The event gets underway at 11 a.m.
Lauren Gilmour, Megan Gmelich, Grace Marchosky, Elena Melehani, Reagan Meyers and Sydney Lew, who are in the midst of their 16-month Les Fleurettes program, will be the featured models.
The Thursday Club has sponsored the debutante program since the 1950s. It is open to all mothers and their daughters who live in La Cañada Flintridge and neighboring communities. The girls begin the program when they are in their junior year of high school and complete it as seniors.
