July 12

Unauthorized use of personal information for credit applications — 2100 block of Patagonia Drive. A man reported he received a letter from Chase Bank and a letter from Citibank, both declining credit cards in his deceased father’s name. He also received a letter from Citibank approving a credit card for his deceased mother. He reported the fraud to both banking firms.

July 20

Vandalism, automobile — 4100 block of Dover Road. A woman reported that sometime between midnight on July 6 and 2 p.m. on July 8, someone glued three rocks to the front hood of her 2012 Jeep Wrangler and one rock to the top of the vehicle’s side mirror.

A video surveillance camera caught the action of two males, both approximately 5 feet 10 and between 150 and 160 pounds, walking toward the Jeep and placing unknown objects on top of the hood and mirror, then running south on Dover Road and out of view.

One suspect was wearing a T-shirt with shorts and what appeared to be a plastic cone over his head. The other was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and shorts. Both kept their faces covered, but the woman said she may know the two suspects, who had on July 4 been in a verbal confrontation with someone else at the property.
