Letters to the Editor: Bail reform act puts community at risk of more crime

Share

Just recently I have been made aware of the California Money Bail Reform Act of 2017. Identical bills now in the state Senate and Assembly, if passed, will seriously change California’s bail bond system to the extent that in many cases bail would be completely eliminated.

This legislation seems to have the potential to put our community more at risk for a continuing increase in crime. What do you think, readers? Let your state representatives know.
