Biblical oils are presentation topic

A series of Christmas sermons begins this Sunday, Nov. 29, at La Cañada United Methodist Church. At the 10:30 a.m. worship service, Pastor Elaine Cho’s topic is “Found Favor with God,” based on Luke 1:26-32. It addresses God finding favor with Mary and what God’s favor looks like today.

The church is planning its Friendship Luncheon, which is set for Sunday, Dec. 6. Guests will learn how frankincense and myrrh were used for health in Marie Henry’s presentation, “Essential Oils of the Bible.”
