Mailbag: Democratic Club welcomes numbers, members

You reported last week that the number of registered voters increased in La Cañada in the past four years and — also interestingly — the number of Democrats and Declined to States also increased, while Republican numbers fell.

The Cañada Crescenta Democratic Club is buoyed by these figures. Could it be from our hard work of the past 11 years in building a Democratic presence in the Foothills?

We’d like to think so! When we hold our annual Holiday Party on Dec. 4 we’d love to celebrate Democratic gains of this past year with our La Cañada/La Crescenta neighbors who’d enjoy mingling with like-minded people.
