Mailbag: Season of shredding

Share

Summer is winding down, days are getting shorter, students are heading back to classes.

It’s also time to move your box of old documents to the garage, nearer your car or truck.

The annual community shredding event at the annual EXPO, put on by the La Cañada Flintridge, Crescenta Valley and Montrose-Verdugo City chambers of commerce, will be in three weeks.

The chambers, together with SCORE of Greater Los Angeles and Republic Services, provide this event at no cost so you can safely dispose of old bank and brokerage statements, and paid bills.

The shredding truck will be in the USC Verdugo Hills Hospital parking lot on Wednesday, Sept. 14, starting at 5 p.m.
