Glendale police investigating two separate robberies reported in succession

Police on Monday were investigating two unrelated incidents—a robbery and an attempted robbery—reported within minutes of one another in Glendale, officials said.

In the first incident, which occurred shortly before 4 p.m. on the 200 block of East Lomita Avenue, the victim arranged to meet the suspect via Craigslist to sell an iPhone 6, according to Glendale Police Sgt. Ben Bateman.
