1991 - Mike Cutler socked a home run and two doubles to lead Claremont to a 7-3 amateur baseball victory Aberdeen Circus-Wendy's-Coke.
1996 - Kevin Young keyed a five-run sixth inning with a three-run homer to lead the Kansas City Royals to a 5-3 victory over the Minnesota Twins.
2001 - Randy Johnson struck out 13 batters over six innings, allowing two earned runs on four hits, as the Arizona Diamondbacks defeated the Houston Astros 3-2.
2006 - Cleveland hit a total of six home runs in a 21- hit attack, including two each for Jhonny Peralta and Travis Hafner, as the Indians bombed the New York Yankees 19-1. Ronnie Belliard, Victor Martinez, Hafner and Peralta, hitters 3-6 in the Indians' batting order, combined to drive in 14 runs.
2010 - Catcher Joe Mauer and first baseman Justin Morneau will be the first Minnesota Twins teammates in the All-Star game starting lineup since Harmon Killebrew and Rod Carew in 1968.
