If players are caught using Adderall without permission, they're subject to discipline under the NFL performance-enhancing drug policy.
NFL senior vice president Adolpho Birch, the league's point man on law and labor policy, told the Associated Press last month that he believes use of Adderall is a growing issue around the league.
"It's not a secret that it's a societal trend," Birch said. "I think we're starting to see some of the effects of that trend."
