Baltimore's top draft pick in 1973 (second overall), he lifted the Colts from the post-Johnny Unitas abyss, leading them to three consecutive AFC East championships from 1975 to 1977. Three times in his nine years here, Jones passed for more than 3,000 yards, including 1976 when he was the NFL's Most Valuable Player. Two years earlier, he set a league record by completing 17 consecutive passes.
