60. Boomer Esiason, football

The big, blond quarterback guided the Terps to the 1983 Atlantic Coast Conference championship and a Citrus Bowl berth. En route, the left-handed Esiason passed for 355 yards (then a school record) in a comeback victory over No. 3 Auburn and its star, Bo Jackson. Esiason threw for 42 touchdowns and 6,259 yards while setting 17 Maryland records, then starred for 14 years in the pros and was voted NFL Most Valuable Player in 1988.
