How good a clutch hitter was the Orioles' first baseman? The Detroit Tigers once walked him with the bases loaded. The American League Rookie of the Year in 1977, Murray played 12 1/2 seasons with the Orioles, during which he topped .300 five times and hit 343 home runs. He's one of four players -- and the only switch-hitter -- with at least 3,000 hits and 500 homers. He was a shoo-in Hall of Famer in 2003, as fans chanted "Ed-die!" one more time.
