The skinny swingman out of Dunbar led the Poets to 60 consecutive wins and two undefeated seasons. As a freshman at Georgetown, Williams scored 19 points in the Hoyas' victory over Houston in the 1984 NCAA championship game. Nicknamed "Silk" for his smooth moves, he scored 23.6 points per game as a senior, was a first-round NBA draft pick (fourth overall) and averaged 12.5 points in 10 pro seasons.
