GS: 0 | GP: 3 | Snaps: 87 Season in review: Brown, an undrafted rookie free agent from Marshall, was a football magnet during the preseason, but he started the season on the practice squad. He was promoted to the active roster in December and suited up for three games, but he was not active in any of the team's four playoff games. Signature moment: Brown only played 87 snaps, the majority of them on special teams, but he recorded a sack in the Week 16 win against the New York Giants and played a lot in the season finale in Cincinnati. Stat that stands out: four -- takeaways in the preseason. He picked off a pass and recovered three fumbles. Pro Football Focus grade: +1.0 on special teams | +0.3 as a defender | -0.2 in coverage | +0.1 against the run. Outlook for 2013 and beyond: Brown had a knack for making big plays during the preseason and limited action during the regular season. The Ravens cut Bernard Pollard and could lose Ed Reed, too, in free agency, which would leave holes in the depth chart. Still, at this point, Brown is not a lock to make the roster next season. To do so, he must continue to get stronger and savvier. Continuing to make those big plays certainly won't hurt.
