Subscribers of The Times-Picayune were greeted Wednesday morning with a thank-you note that read: "Thank you to the citizens of New Orleans, including your outstanding police department, for your warm reception and first-class service to Ravens players, coaches and fans." It was signed by the world champions, of course.
Later Wednesday morning, the team announced in New Orleans that it would donate two 2013 Harley Davidson FLHP motorcycles to the New Orleans Police Department Traffic Division. It was a thoughtful gesture considering that the New Orleans Police Department escorted the Ravens around the city all week.
“We wanted to do something to show our appreciation for how well our team, our families and our fans were treated by everyone representing New Orleans,” Ravens owner

"I always talk to my teammates about southern hospitality, and the fact that it was on display enough during our Super Bowl week to have the Ravens donate something to the great people of New Orleans is special," Jones said.
