Clippers put their winning streak at risk in Denver
Playing at Denver on the second night of back-to-back games is considered one of the toughest things to do in the NBA.
Even for a streaking team like the Clippers, it figures to be a tall task.
The Clippers have won 11 consecutive games, the longest current winning streak in the league. They have tied the 1974-75 Buffalo Braves for the second-longest winning streak in franchise history.
The franchise record is 17 games in a row, set by last year’s team.
But the Clippers play in Denver on Monday night, and they have lost three consecutive games there, the last time on a buzzer-beating three-pointer by Randy Foye.
The Clippers have lost 12 of their last 14 games in Denver.
