His only previous head coaching experience came at Temple, where he went 21-45 over six seasons in the 1980s. Arians is a longtime NFL offensive assistant who has worked with Peyton Manning, Tim Couch, Ben Roethlisberger and now Andrew Luck. He is a self-professed riverboat gambler of a coach.
