Update: The Clippers, who have a four-game winning streak, returned home from a seven-game trip, going 6-1. The Clippers have defeated the Timberwolves nine consecutive times. Rookie Andrew Wiggins, the top overall pick from last summer’s draft, was averaging 11.9 points per game for Minnesota, which could be missing as many as three starters, before Sunday night’s game at Portland. Rookie Zach LaVine, a former UCLA player, was averaging 8.0 points. Center Nikola Pekovic (wrist) missed his sixth game in a row Sunday while guard Ricky Rubio (ankle) and Kevin Martin (wrist) are out as well as backup center Ronny Turiaf (hip).
