The Clippers announced Tuesday that their summer league team in Orlando, Fla., would include second-year guard C.J. Wilcox and rookie forward Brandon Dawson in addition to recent draft picks Brice Johnson, David Michineau and Diamond Stone.

The weeklong league that starts Saturday at the Orlando Magic’s practice court at Amway Center will give the Clippers a chance to evaluate Johnson, whom they selected with the 25th pick in the first round of the draft, as well as second-round picks Michineau and Stone. Clippers Coach Doc Rivers said he expected both of the team’s second-round picks to make the team next season, though their contracts are not guaranteed.

Journeyman center Greg Stiemsma, who was out of the NBA last season after a four-year career with four teams, is also on the roster.

Clippers assistant coach Brendan O’Connor will coach the team that will play five games, with the final standings determined on the last day based on a point system.

Wilcox and Dawson both starred in the summer league last year. Wilcox averaged 14.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.4 steals, while Dawson averaged 12.8 points and 10.3 rebounds.

The Clippers will play the Miami Heat on Saturday, the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday, the New York Knicks on July 5 and the Orlando White team on July 7, followed by one more opponent to be determined on July 8.
