Former FHSU receiver OJ Murdock reaches for a ball at Titans training camp
Former Fort Hays State receiver O.J. Murdock injured his right Achilles' tendon at Tennessee Titans preseason camp on Sunday night. He had surgery on Monday.
Murdock, a two year standout with the Tigers, signed a rookie free agent contract with the Titans last Thursday. Titans head coach Mike Munchak says Murdock heard a pop without any contact. There is no other word about the seriousness of the injury of if Murdock is done for the year.
The Tampa, Florida native set FHSU records for receiving yards and yards per catch in 2010.
