Wednesday is a meeting of the best and worst teams in the Big 12 Conference.
The Horned Frogs (9-12, 0-8) are winless in the Big 12 and average just 54 points a game. Chances are not in their favor when the Jayhawks (19-2, 7-1) visit Wednesday night.
Kansas fell from the second ranked team in the country to fifth after the loss. Still remain the highest ranked team in the Big 12 and hold a one game lead on the next losest opponent.
Head coach Bill Self lamented Saturday that the team has been playing on borrowed time should take the loss to the Cowboys as a sign to get better, or else.
Much of Kansas' loss is been pointed at senior guard Elijah Johnson for turning the ball over on the final play Saturday. Self said Johnson would be fine and that he is sticking by him.
