at Cal State Northridge 73, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo 68: Lenny Daniel scored 20 points and Kenny Daniels scored 19 to lead the Matadors (10-16, 5-7 Big West), who scored the first eight points of the second half to take a 43-29 lead. The Mustangs (9-16, 6-7) made up a 14-point deficit and took a 65-64 lead with 2 minutes 3 seconds to play. Lorenzo Keeler scored seven of the first nine points for the Mustangs and finished with 23, and Shawn Lewis scored 14.

UC Santa Barbara 73, at Cal State Fullerton 65: James Nunnally and Orlando Johnson each scored 18 points to lead the Gauchos (15-8, 10-3 Big West). The Gauchos forced 17 turnovers and committed only nine. The Titans (13-12, 7-6) outrebounded the Gauchos, 44-28. Santa Barbara led by as many as 10 points in the first half but only 35-34 at the half. The Titans led by five points with 9:06 to play. The Gauchos tied the score, 55-55, and afterward took a lead they would never lose.

at UC Riverside 74, UC Irvine 57: Larry Gurganious had 12 points and 13 rebounds for the Highlanders (10-15, 4-9 Big West), who got 16 points from Kyle Austin. The Highlanders had 47 rebounds, including 20 on offense. Eric Wise had a game-high 22 points for the Anteaters (11-16, 4-9).

Pacific 74, at Long Beach State 52: Pat Eveland scored 23 points to lead the Tigers (17-8, 9-3 Big West), including five three-point shots. Eugene Phelps had 13 points for the 49ers (12-14, 6-7) and T.J. Robinson had 11.

at Boise State 81, Cal State Bakersfield 62: Stephon Carter had 18 points for the Roadrunners (7-19), who could not get closer than 10 points. Anthony Thomas scored 15 points for the Broncos (12-14).
