USC football: Watch Rick Neuheisel sing an ode to Ed Orgeron
Rick Neuheisel was head coach at Colorado, Washington and UCLA, so the former Bruins quarterback knows his way around the Pac-12 Conference.
He also plays the guitar, and the Pac-12 Networks analyst is in the habit of penning and performing college-football related songs.
Neuheisel’s latest composition is a tribute to USC interim Coach Ed Orgeron, who has guided the Trojans to five wins in six games.
Last Saturday, the Trojans upset Stanford at the Coliseum.
“A tribute to what has taken place there,” Neuheisel said during the Pac-12 Networks Football Podcast. “It wasn’t very long ago we saw empty stands. We saw a dilapidated football team. And yet here they are, and that scene last week at the Coliseum was heroic in terms of, for Trojan fans to rekindle what they all remember as the glory of USC.
“And so I think it’s fitting that we do a little song to tribute our good friend Ed O.”
