Dodgers-Cardinals NLCS game times announced

The Dodgers and Cardinals will open the National League championship series on Friday in St. Louis with a game scheduled to start at 5 p.m. PDT.

The series stays in St. Louis for Game 2 on Saturday, scheduled to begins at 1 p.m. PDT

When the series moves to Los Angeles for Games 3-5 on Oct. 14-16, the times will be 5 p.m., 5 p.m. and 1 p.m., respectively, all PDT.

Games 6 and 7, if necessary, will be played in St. Louis on Oct. 18-19, starting at 5:30 p.m. PDT.

The NLCS games will be televised by TBS.

The American League championship series between the Boston Red Sox and the winner of Thursday night’s Detroit Tigers-Oakland Athletics game will be televised by Fox.

Game 1, in Boston, is set for Saturday at 5 p.m. PDT. Sunday’s Game 2 will begin at 5:15 p.m. PDT.

Games 3-5, to be played either in Detroit or Oakland Oct. 15-17, have start times of 1 p.m., 5 p.m. and 5 p.m., respectively, all PDT.

If the series moves back to Boston, a potential Game 6 would be played Oct. 19 at 1:30 p.m. PDT unless the NLCS series is complete. If there is no NLCS game, the ALCS Game 6 would be moved to 5 p.m. PDT.

Game 7 of the ALCS, if necessary, would be played Oct. 20 beginning at 5 p.m. PDT

Game 1 of the World Series is set for Oct. 23.
