Dodgers tie Rockies, 3-3, in spring training

Dodgers 3, Rockies 3

AT THE PLATE: Adrian Gonzalez capped a solid spring by driving in two runs. Gonzalez finished the Cactus League with a .303 average. Carl Crawford broke out of his spring-long slump by collecting two hits and scoring a run. Utilityman Justin Turner, who was added to the major league roster earlier in the day, got a hit in his only at-bat. He finished the spring with a .355 average.

ON THE MOUND: Hyun-Jin Ryu looked as if he was ready to face the Arizona Diamondbacks in Australia. In his final tuneup, Ryu limited the Rockies to two runs (one earned) and seven hits in 51/3 innings. He threw 88 pitches and said he should be ready to throw 95 to 100 pitches in his first regular-season start. Ryu's spring earned-run average was 2.20. Closer Kenley Jansen pitched another scoreless inning. He pitched seven innings this spring and didn't give up a run.

EXTRA BASES: The Dodgers drew 13,115 spectators to finish the spring with a cumulative attendance of 114,402 in their 12 home games. The average attendance of 9,534 was the highest since the Dodgers moved their spring-training home to Arizona in 2009. The Dodgers averaged 7,851 per spring home game last year.
