Mike Marshall, outfielder 1988 stats: .277, 20 HRs, 82 RBIs Where is he now? Marshall is commissioner of the Pacific Association of Professional Baseball Clubs. What is your most memorable moment from that season? "Too many to name. Leary's pinch-hit game winner. Gibby scoring from second base on a wild pitch. Orel's streak." What went through your mind when Kirk Gibson hit that Game 1 homer? "Not as surprised as everyone else. Just when you think you seen it all the improbable happens. The longer you live the more amazing things happen." Do you ever wear your World Series ring? "I pull it out for appearances or to show people. I don't wear jewelery at all, so although I am very proud, I have never worn it."
