Carl Crawford back, Hanley Ramirez out as Dodgers go for clincher

They’re in, they’re out, they’re somewhere.

Don Mattingly posted the lineup he hopes will clinch the National League West on Wednesday, and once again players were coming and going.

Back after being out since Saturday with a bad back is outfielder Carl Crawford. Still in after his return Tuesday is Matt Kemp. Still in after experiencing a leg cramp Tuesday is Adrian Gonzalez.

But out of the lineup is shortstop Hanley Ramirez, who had also returned Tuesday from a sore back that had kept him out since Friday. Ramirez looked like the back may have seized up on him during an at-bat Tuesday, when he went one for two with three walks.

And still out indefinitely is Andre Ethier (foot), who has no announced timetable for a return.

So the Dodgers will try to defeat the Diamondbacks in Phoenix tonight with this lineup: Yasiel Puig RF, Crawford LF, Michael Young 3B, Gonzalez 1B, Kemp CF, Mark Ellis 2B, Nick Punto SS, Tim Federowicz C and Stephen Fife P.

A victory tonight, or tomorrow, against the Diamondbacks would give the Dodgers their first division title since 2009. They would become the first baseball team to clinch.
