In what's becoming an annual trip, Clayton and Ellen Kershaw have returned to Africa to continue their good deeds.
Partnered with Arise Africa, the Kershaws’ charitable foundation -- Kershaw's Challenge -- is sponsoring an orphanage in Zambia.
The small orphanage opened last year, and the Kershaws are there now with a team of 23, bringing additional donations, working on the site and interacting with the first eight orphans.
The Kershaws -- the suspicion is, it's mostly Ellen -- are blogging daily from Zambia, and those interested can follow their adventure.
They packed 38 bags of donations, and reported that only five were lost during the lengthy trip that included a stopover in London. Wrote the Kershaws: "As we say here all the time: T.I.A. (this is Africa). Going with the flow is crucial here."
The Kershaws are searching for additional sponsors for the orphans. They wrote that the current eight are sleeping in beds for the first time in their lives.
